Gram-positive bacteria (Biometrics). The spores are oval, lateral, meso or mesial, with cyst enlargement, and free spore is thicker than the other side (canoe shaped). It does not produce gas from carbohydrates, does not hydrolyze starch, facultative anaerobic, acid and alkali resistant.
