[Biological feature] 

It’s one kind of bacillus, gram positive bacteria. One bacterium is 0.7-0.8um×2-3um, coloring evenly, without capsule, with flagella around it, can move. The size of spore is 0.6-0.9um×1.0-1.5um, oval or columnar, at central or a little near center of the bacterium; the bacterium will not expand after spore forms. The surface of the bacteria colony is rough and opaque, with the color of dirty white or yellow, usually form wrinkle pellicle during growing in the liquid culture medium. They are aerobic bacteria, can use protein, a variety of sugar and starch decompose tryptophan and form benzpyrole.

[Functional Mechanisms] 

1. During the growth  process, bacillus subtilis will generate the subtilin, polymyxin, nystatin, gramicidin etc, which have obvious inhibitory effect on the pathogenic bacteria. 

2. Promote the mineralization and humification of the organic material: through the mineralization, the unavailable and potential nutrient will be changed into rapid available form.; through the humification, plenty of humic acid is produced and which can stimulate the growth of plants, as the microbial fertilizer, it plays the important role in the agricultural production. Bacillus subtilis can secrete phytase, which can degarde most of the phytate in the soil and promote the growth of plants, and increase the rate of survival and emergence rate.

[Main functions] 

1. Increase  stress resistance ability of the crop, fix nitrogen, decrease the dosage of chemical fertilizer, and save the cost.

2. Strong the capacity of resistance to disease, cold, drought, hot, and prevention of insect, improve the crop quality. 

3. Increase the soil nutrient, improve soil structure and micro-ecological environment. 

4. Promote the organic matter in soil to be decomposed into humus, promote the root and crop growth.

5. Balance the PH value of soil, probiotics adjust the ecological environment of roots, and become dorminant bacterial community, and prevent soil disease, decrease the damage of chemical fertilizer and pesticide to soil and overcome the continuous cropping obstacles.

6. As the biopesticide to treat plant disease, bacillus subtilis can efficiently prevent and cure many kinds of fungal disease. Inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, improve the disease resistance ability.

[Usage and dosage] Take the 10 billion CFU/g ones as the example:

1. For used as biological bacterial fertilizer, 1.5 to 2.0  kg per hectare.

2. For adding in organic fertilizer, as the functional bacteria, mix 400 to 500g with 1 tonne organic fertilizer.

[Notice] Do not mix the product with chemical bactericide.

[Using scope] For making microorganism fertilizer or used as microbial inoculants.
